Four Arrested in Walmart Theft Ring

Ozark, AL (WTVY) After allegedly stealing thousands of dollars worth of merchandise, the members of a Walmart theft ring are now behind bars.

Several Walmarts from all around the Wiregrass were targeted including Ozark, Dothan, Enterprise, Marianna, and even Tallahassee.

Thirty-five year old Marcus Golden, thirty-one year old Pamela Flowers, nineteen year old Amos Ball, and thirty-one year old Donald Allen were all arrested and charged with 3rd degree theft.

The four suspects reportedly had been stealing an assortment of different electronics, such as tv's cameras, computers, phones and other items.

With the help of Walmart security cameras, and the assistance of Walmart Loss Prevention, the Ozark Police Department were able to identify the suspects. and conduct an undercover operation.

The suspects were confronted and arrested at the Walmart in Ozark.

"With the Walmart in Ozark, we had already had two thefts, with the same suspects, and same vehicle. So, on this day, on the 17th, Walmart personnel gave us a call and advised us that the suspects were in the store at that time. We got together, me and a couple of agents and made contact with them in the parking lot before they left," said Sergeant Troy Buchanan with the Ozark Police Department.

More theft charges are still pending for all four suspects.

The Ozark Police Department are working with the other Walmarts to see what all was stolen.

The case is ongoing.
