DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) -- This Friday Toys for Tots picked up contributions from its drop off locations.
Reporter Aybriel Beckham along with Kohl’s’ volunteer Kasey Wood are helping the elves get ready for Christmas this holiday season.
Mike Walton says they have received more than eleven thousand toys this year. That means each child will get 3 to 4 gifts, and more than 200 bikes and toys are still on the way.
It warms his heart that over 2500 kids will wake up Christmas morning with gifts under the tree all thanks to the wiregrass communities help.
Kasey says “It makes you feel good it makes you feel happy it puts a little pep in your step because you're doing something for somebody else.
