Eufaula middle schooler charged with felony in threat investigation

EUFAULA, Ala. (WTVY) - A Eufaula middle school student faces felony charges for allegedly making threats at school.

Investigators say the 13 year old made the comments to other students at Admiral Moorer Middle School Friday. The school resource officer arrested the seventh grader after conducting an interview.

According to Eufaula Police, the threat was made at the end of the school day and no students or faculty members were ever in danger.

The student is charged with making a terrorist threat. He was taken to the Southeast Alabama Youth Services Diversion Center.
