Last week, DEF received $5,000 from the Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM Cares).
The donation will go toward encouraging community involvement and partnership, such as the 'Adopt a School' program.
The foundation received another $5,000 this week from the BBVA Compass Foundation. The money will support the organization's mission to strengthen student achievement, improve classroom instruction and teacher morale and build community support and confidence of Dothan schools.
