DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) - Dothan City Commission approved a construction agreement for the roads Tuesday morning.
Each year, the City of Dothan spends about $2 million resurfacing various streets and 2018 is no different.
With this agreement, the city plans to take more in depth looks at the city streets, as well as analyze the total cost of repairs.
The $2 million agreement is set to allow for 12-15 miles of resurfacing roads all over the city.
"There are some streets in the core areas that we are trying to look at. Adams Street, some other streets like that. South Appletree is all tore up right now with utility work. That's one major street to look at, but like I said it'll be spread all over all the districts like we do each year." --Dothan Public Works Director
