(NBC News Channel) - The Las Vegas Shooting has become the deadliest in the United States' recent history of mass shootings, leaving 59 dead and more than 500 injured.
Just last year, 49 people were killed and 58 others injured in a shooting at the Pulse night club in Orlando, Florida.
In 2015, 14 people were killed and nearly two dozen others were injured in a shooting in San Bernardino, California.
In 2012, a shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School that left 26 people dead, including 20 children.
In 2007, 33 people, including the gunman, were killed on the Virginia Tech campus in what was at the time the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. History.
And in 1999, two students opened fire on their classmates at Columbine High School in suburban Denver, killing 12 students and a teacher before killing themselves.
