2017 Weather Year in Review – Alabama Gets Rare Snow on December 8th

ALABAMA (WTVY) – A rare snow came to parts of Alabama on December 8th, and not just a few flakes either.

According to the National Weather Service, Birmingham got 3 and a half inches, while other areas around Birmingham got as much as six inches.

Even Mobile got some snow, while Dothan got none at all. Some parts of the Wiregrass like Brundidge in Pike County did get a little bit of snow.
