Meet Kimberly Hyde

Kimberly Hyde joined WTVY News 4 in September 2016 as a Multi-Media Journalist.

A native Alabamian, Kimberly was born in Birmingham and grew up in Prattville.

Prior to joining the WTVY news team, Kimberly interned at Alabama News Network CBS 8 in Montgomery, AL. Previously, she served as host/reporter for Carolina Connection, a television magazine show airing on WSOC-TV in Charlotte, NC.

Before breaking into the news business, Kimberly spent 12 years working for NASCAR as a Marketing Manager. She traveled on the NASCAR circuit handling various media relations duties for NASCAR, its drivers, teams and sponsors.

Kimberly is a proud graduate of Auburn University (War Eagle!), where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio, Television & Film. She also holds a certificate in Digital Media Technology from Carolina School of Broadcasting.

In her spare time, Kimberly enjoys working out, exploring the outdoors, watching sports, cooking, and cheering on her Auburn Tigers!
