Meet Alison Lorraine

Alison Lorraine joined the news team at WTVY in August 2016 as a reporter. She was born and raised in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, a suburb outside Philadelphia. Alison attended Bucks County Community College and received her associate’s degree in communication studies. She continued her education at Temple University and received her bachelor’s degree in journalism.

Before graduating in May 2016, Alison co-hosted/produced the Temple talk show A Broader View, and grew passionate about multi-media storytelling. Shortly after, Alison went on to be a co-host for The Best of Manayunk 2016. During this time, she was also a staff reporter for a Temple-ran online news publication, Philadelphia Neighborhoods.

During her free time she enjoys going to the beach and being with her family, especially her two-year-old niece. She loves animals, children, physical fitness, and trying new things. She hopes to be an influential journalist in the tri-states area.
