Mr. Robert Martin “Bob” Wooley, WO3, age 77, of Ozark, died Saturday, August 23, 2014, at his home.
A memorial service for Mr. Wooley will be held at 10:00 A. M. Tuesday, August 26, 2014, from Ozark Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. Steve King officiating. The family will greet friends following the service at the church.
Mr. Wooley was born February 8, 1937 in Richmond, Virginia to the late John Wesley Wooley and Martha Viola Adams Wooley. Bob was in the Air Force for eight years. He served in the Indiana National Guard and retired from the Virginia Army National Guard as a property book officer. Bob enjoyed cooking, watching old movies, riding roller coasters and playing cards. He liked to travel especially enjoyed going on cruises. He loved the Lord and worshiped at Ozark Baptist Church. There he attended Sunday School, Discipleship Training, Senior Moments and Boomers Group. He served on the Hospitality Committee and worked with Bible School, Fall Festival and Samaritan Purse Christmas Child. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Valerie D. Garlet; and one brother, John Wesley Wooley, Jr.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Carolyn Kime Wooley; two daughters, Christal Fellwock and Katrina Higgins; one son and daughter-in-law, Donald Stewart and Gail Johnson;
one step-daughter, Tina Williams; loving grandchildren, Chasity Kemper, Brandon and Keith Higgins, Ayla and Elora Johnson; one sister, Brenda Lee Eanes.
