A former member of Dothan's business community has died.
Selden Bailey passed away Sunday morning.
Bailey was born July 24th, 1920. He served in World War II and witnessed the Japanese surrender to the U.S. on August 12, 1945.
He served as president of the Dothan Chamber of Commerce and was involved in the National Peanut Festival Corporation.
Funeral services for Bailey will be Tuesday, April 23, at First United Methodist Church at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11:45.
The family asks that instead of flowers, donations be made to the charity of your choice in honor of Bailey.
Selden bailey was 92-years-old.
