Mrs. Mernette Lewis White of Hartford passed away Sunday, October 21, 2012 at Flowers Hospital. She was 89. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 24, in Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Hillburn Stanley officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
