Mrs. Mildred Martin Sessions, 96, of Ozark, died Monday, July 30, 2012, in Montgomery. Funeral services will be 3:30 P. M. Friday, August 3, 2012, in the Westview Memorial Cemetery Chapel with Reverend James Green officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Memorial Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Friday in Westview Memorial Cemetery Chapel from 2:30 P. M. until service time. Mrs. Sessions was born November 17, 1915, the daughter of the late James Thomas Martin and Effie Mae Scofield Martin of Covington County. She grew up in Opp, Alabama and moved to Ozark with her husband after World War II where she spent the majority of her life. She and Mr. Sessions owned and operated Sessions Building Supply Company for many years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Lewe Frank “Bitsie” Sessions, and her sisters, Myrle Holloway and Lurlene McCalman. She leaves behind her sons, Lewe Frank Sessions, III (Becky) of Marietta, Georgia, James Thomas “Jim” Sessions (Robin) of Muscle Shoals; her daughters, Anne Sessions Smith (Terry) of Killen, Alabama, Camilla Sessions Wible (Bill) of Montgomery; a sister-in-law, Hazel Sessions of Ozark; grandchildren, Shannon Smith Currey, Brennan Smith, Elizabeth “Bitsie” Wible, Jennifer Wible Barber, James Wible, Lewe Frank Sessions, IV, Brett Sessions, Kimberly Sessions McWilliams, Jay Sessions, and Joel Sessions.
