Late Coach Watters' Son Succumbs to his Injuries

The accident happened in Florida while the family was on their way home from vacation.

It's another sad day for Carroll High.
Reports say 9-year-old Jai Watters passed away Friday, July 6 at Children's Hospital in Birmingham.

If you can remember, on May 24th coach Watters and his 10-year-old son Quentin, were fatally injured after their car was hit by a box truck in Orlando.

They were both pronounced dead on the scene.
Jai was seriously injured and rushed to hospital.
Where he spent weeks trying to recover.

Funeral services have been set for Jai.
The funeral will be held Thursday at Mt. Mariah Baptist Church in Gilbertown, Alabama,
That's where the family lived before moving to Ozark.

Carroll high's principal Patrick Brannan he said
Quote "This is devastating, the glimmer of hope for the younger son was taken away and it's another tragedy for the high school."
