Local families are getting the chance to open their homes to Japanese students this summer.
The States 4-H International Youth Exchange Program is looking for ten host families to host one Japanese child between 12 and 16 years old.
"They'll be paired with a youth of similar age to an American child. They'll really understand what it's like to grow up in Japan, and how's that is similar or different from being an American child," said Program Manager Krystal Oswald-Herold.
The international visitors will stay in Dothan from July 23rd until August 21st. If you are interested, contact Rosalind James at 334-794-4108.
