A local organization wants you to hit the lanes to help them build a home.
Wiregrass Habitat for Humanity Women’s Build Community is holding a “Bowl to Build” night to help build a house for someone in need.
The women plan to build a home for a single mom in Ozark. They hope the money raised will pay for at least half of the house.
“There are so many in the wiregrass who are low income who cannot afford a simple decent home and that's what we are trying to do we are just working to get there and build them simple decent affordable homes because there is so much poverty in the wiregrass,” said Amy Schultz of the Wiregrass Habitat for Humanity.
The fundraiser will be on Friday, July 26 at 6 p.m. at Dothan Lanes. The cost will be $120 per four member team which includes two games and shoes. The winning team will receive a trophy.
