Vernon Mother Organizes Candle Light Vigil for Missing Daughter

It's been nearly seven years since a Vernon mother last seen her daughter.

During the summer of 2007 Britney Wright left home and never came back. Today would have been her 26th birthday. In memory of her daughter's disappearance Kim Wright is organizing a candlelight vigil that will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the park beside the Tom Thumb in Vernon, Florida.

This vigil is tonight and it’s open to the public, community, family and friends.

"She was my life, she was my heart. I just want to be able to say goodbye to her and get some type of closure. I miss her really bad I wish she was here," said Kim Wright.

If you have any information leading to Britney’s whereabouts you can contact Crime Stoppers at (334) 793-7000.
