The Houston County Commission met on Thursday morning.

Probate Judge Patrick Davenport made some proposals concerning polling places

Davenport suggested adding First Assembly Church as a polling place.

He also mentioned moving some voters from Westgate Park to Vaughn Blumberg Center.

The polling place change will only be for county and state elections.

The commission will vote on this proposal during their Monday meeting.

If it is approved, the first election will be the primaries in Spring of 2014.
