Teens Are Cleaning Up Opp!

A group of Coffee County teens give back to those past and present.

Meeting up at the Hardin cemetery in Opp, Al. this morning teenagers cleaned up neglected graves. They are all a part of a "T.A.P.P.S" program that helps uplift the community through unity and hard work. Teens picked up weeds and fixed broken plots.

"Youth today, a lot of them are just straying away because they really don't have anything else to do. I believe that if you show them that they can make a difference not only in their lives but in the lives of others, I feel like they believe that they belong to something."

T.A.P.P.S stands for "Teens Applying Positive Partnership Standards". If you know a child who would like to join this group you can contact Mr. Randy Stokes at 334-764-3254.
