A group of women met at Westgate Park Sunday to hold a walk in remembrance of Rebecca Jackson who lost her life to domestic violence. Among them was a survivor who says more people should speak out if involved in an abusive relationship.

"I think a lot of people are afraid to stand up and talk about it, in fear, mostly for women, maybe of their lives. Some people just feel like they don't want to get involved in a situation especially when
it's a husband and wife involved," Angela Snell, a domestic violence survivor said.

Snell says she had no relationship with Jackson, but could relate to her because of similar experiences.
