The City of Brundidge will be getting new additions to a few of its roads.
The city has been awarded a community development block grant to begin construction on a number of sidewalk. The sidewalk of Graham Blvd. and Galloway Road has some sidewalks. But the city wants to expand.
City officials say the two roads are some of the busiest, making it dangerous for pedestrians who may be walking on a curve or in a blind spot. They saw they have been working to get grants to fund this project for some time now.
The total cost of the project will be about $430,000.
