Freedom Fest has canceled their fireworks for Wednesday, July 3.
The band concert is still on, and will start at 6 p.m. at the Post Theater. Doors will open at 5 p.m. Limited seating and concessions available.
Fort Rucker officials made a call earlier today to cancel all the vendor/family outdoor activities associated with the Wiregrass Freedom Fest. However, the concert is a go and a weather call will be made at 4 p.m. today regarding the fireworks show.
Pending the decision by officials, if they are a go, the fireworks will begin at 8:30 p.m. The parking plan remains the same.
The location for the 98th Army Band concert has been moved indoors to the Post Theater and will start at 6 p.m. Doors will open at 5 p.m. Limited seating and refreshments are available.
