The library's summer reading program is back again.

This year the program is divided into two different age groups.

There's a program for 2-year-olds thru 5th graders and one for 6th thru 12th graders.

Kids choose how many books they want to read and document the number to be turned in.

"We had 142 kids come sign up just yesterday here at Dothan library from 9 to 9 last night and it was wonderful seeing kids excited about learning to read, loving to read and coming to the library it's a real joy," said Children's Librarian Kristin North.

The kids do receive gift cards and certificates for participating.

The program ends July 27th and all you need is a library card to sign up.
