DOTHAN--For 31-year-old Josiah Hall finding a job is just like playing a game of luck.

"It can be discouraging at times," said Hall.

Hall has been unemployed for almost two years.

"I've been looking, I look all throughout the week, I'm on the internet all the time, I go everywhere."

His search started after he was laid off from a coffee shop due to downsizing.

Besides his previous experience, he also has something else under his belt.

"I actually have a bachelors degree in business administration."

The case is a little different for some.

"I'm currently employed but I would like a position at a job that I can move up in and further my career," said Maggie Mathis.

With more than 30 employers people actually got several chances to put a face with their resume.

"Face to face is always the best way, email and phone can just be so general," said Kimberly Smith with Bri's Event Planning.

Although hall has been job hunting for so long he has a positive message for himself and others in his position.

"I just encourage everybody to keep looking something will open for you just stay positive and focus on what you want to do," said Hall.

And that's the same motivation that allows hall to not give up in his search.

There will be a teacher career fair on February 29th at Troy Dothan from 9 a.m.- 11 a.m.

It's free and open to the public and all education majors and unemployed teachers are invited.
