Houston County Commissioners Discuss Monday's Agenda

DOTHAN, AL--Thursday commissioners discussed items to add to the agenda.

Among them, whether to give the library system the $1 million dollars it's requested.

Instead of giving a full cash payment the commission is considering in-kind services.

They're also set to vote on picking up the tab for a traffic signal in Cowarts.

It would be installed at Glen Lawrence Road, Forrester Road and Highway 84.

Other items include approving a grant for storm shelters and resurfacing and extending the parking lot across from the Houston County Courthouse.

They're set to vote on the items Monday morning.
