DOTHAN - CityFest fun continued on South Foster street with the Bayou Gumbo Cook-off.
The cook-off benefits the fight against ALS or Lou Gehrigs disease.
All proceeds raised go toward the fight and patrons got to taste a variety of gumbo recipes.
This year's theme was to "Grab a bowl... It's good for the soul".
"We've got seafood gumbo and chicken and sausage gumbo,” Janna Everett said. “We're giving first place prizes for both categories, and we're selling tickets for people's choice awards. Five dollars and you can taste all of them, and all the proceeds will go to the Lou Gehrigs Foundation."
Organizers hope to hit $4,000 for the cause.
