Alabama Governor Robert Bentley visited the Wiregrass as part of his Road to Economic Recovery Tour.
The purpose of the tour is to visit communities to discuss ways to attract more jobs to Alabama. During his stop to Enterprise State Community College, Bentley addressed the crowd at a business roundtable.
After a few words about his love for small towns and Coffee County, Wiregrass residents had an opportunity to ask Governor Bentley questions.
"We do have programs across the state that will help downtown area's develop. We have grants that
will help those area's develop. I just think it's important not to allow small towns to die," said Bentley.
Governor Bentley also stopped by Elba High School, Dorsey Trailers and Po Folks Restaurant. All establishments in Coffee County.
