The 4th of July Grand Lagoon fireworks show has been rescheduled for Saturday, July 6 at 9 p.m.
Two Florida organizations have canceled their fireworks for the 4th of July.
Due to the impending inclement weather anticipated for today, the Defuniak Springs Business and Professional Association has had to cancel their scheduled 4th of July festivities including the parade and fireworks.
At this time, the DBPA has reschedule the event to take place on Labor Day weekend which this year falls on September 1st. They feel it is important to hold the festivities on another holiday that represents what makes America great.
