Elba City Schools are getting ready for their sixth annual Back-to-School Bash.
The event will be this Saturday at Elba High School from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Former NFL football player Ronald McKinnon will be putting on a one-day football camp at the event. Kids ages 9 through 18 are invited.
"We just want to do some things to help our young kids, you know, encourage them to stay in school, pretty much help them with some school supplies. We've always had over 100 or something kids show up, participate. kids are excited, i mean they're looking forward to this. I've had phone calls, people calling 'hey we're coming , we're gonna come to the one-day football camp, get an autograph from Ronald McKinnon," explained Tim Williams, a coordinator for the event.
