Dothan Police Department Arrest Report

Press Release November 22, 2010

The Dothan Police Department has made a felony arrest for Theft of Property First Degree.

Police say the arrest follows the investigation of a report made by security employees at Target. Investigators say Target employees provided surveillance video of two suspects who entered Target and stole electronics from the business.

Tracy Bryant was arrested for theft at which time police found a .40 caliber handgun in her purse later determined to be stolen.

Police are seeking a second suspect for questioning in this crime and also believe Bryant may have recently sold stolen GPS systems in connection with this case and are asking anyone with information to call the Dothan Police Department or CrimeStoppers 334-793-7000.

• Tracy Bryant, black female, 40 years of age, of South Edgewood Drive was arrested and charged with Theft of Property First Degree and Receiving Stolen Property Third Degree with bonds totaling $6,000.
