Harley-Davidson of Panama City Beach is proud to support our local law enforcement this holiday season by holding toy drives for two children’s charities.

Cops ‘n Kids was founded 26 years ago by several employees of the Panama City Beach Police Department with the purpose of helping make a better Christmas for underprivileged children. "Our community, and especially our children, are very important to the Panama City Beach employees," said Beach Police Chief, Drew Whitman. “This is the one time of year we can make sure all our children wake up with a smile, a few gifts under the Christmas tree, and a good home-cooked meal.”

In 1980, a few Bay County Sheriff's deputies started Project 25 for the purpose of collecting and purchasing Christmas toys for needy children. "There is nothing like the face of a child with gifts under a tree on Christmas morning; the memory will last their lifetime," said Sheriff Frank McKeithen. "The Bay County Sheriff’s Office is proud to partner with Harley-Davidson of Panama City Beach to put smiles on the faces of Bay County's needy children again this Christmas, through Project 25."

“It’s important to do our part in supporting our local community,” said Gary Bang, Vice President of HD Florida which owns Harley-Davidson stores in Panama City Beach, Tallahassee, Tampa, New Port Richey and Brandon. “Holding toy drives for Cops ‘n Kids and Project 25 is a wonderful way to help a child’s Christmas be just a little more special.”
