TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - Players on both the Arizona Cardinals and Pittsburgh Steelers are openly declaring their faith in Jesus Christ as they prepare for Sunday's Super Bowl.
When a reporter challenged Arizona's Tim Hightower to pray in front of the press corps, the Cardinals running back responded, "I can pray that whatever is going on in your life right now that youfind God."
Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner told sports reporters that he's trying to "represent Jesus" in everything he does. In his words, "It's the most important thing in my life."
Warner's public display of faith has made an impression on his younger teammates, about 20 of whom join him in Bible studies after practice every Wednesday during the season.
Steelers safety Troy Polamalu says faith permeates every aspect of his life.
