Judge Upholds Marriage by Online Minister

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. (AP) - A Pennsylvania judge has upheld the
legality of a marriage performed by a man who was ordained in a
matter of minutes by completing an online form with the Universal
Life Church.

Bucks County Judge C. Theodore Fritsch Jr. declared the 2005 marriage of Jason and Jennifer O'Neill valid even though the groom's uncle had just become a "minister."

A York County judge ruled last year that a minister who performs
marriages must have a regular congregation or house of worship.
