Wright Preaches Again at Trinity

CHICAGO (AP) - Barack Obama's former pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr., has given his first sermon at the pulpit of Trinity United Church of Christ since he retired earlier this year.

Wright spoke Sunday in honor of the Chicago church's 47th anniversary. He spoke against the media, naming specific news stations, and said media coverage couldn't dampen the
congregation's spirits.

When some of Wright's fiery sermons put him in the spotlight during this year's presidential campaign, Obama distanced himself from his former pastor and left the church.

Wright last spoke at the church in February.
