WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Rev. Rick Warren says President Barack Obama is "dead wrong" to require employers to provide insurance for birth control and sterilizations which their faith condemns.
Warren told CBN News' David Brody that the most important freedom in America is religious liberty.
The Saddleback pastor, who prayed at Obama's inauguration four years ago, said, "I clearly told the President I one-hundred percent disagree with him, and I actually said I would fight him on this issue of religious liberty."
Federal judges this week dismissed two more lawsuits challenging the contraceptive mandate in the health care law, saying the religious rights of Catholic nonprofits in Tennessee and the Diocese of Pittsburgh weren't violated because the law isn't being enforced yet.
