COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -- Sikh leaders in the U.S. say they're "shocked and deeply saddened" by Sunday's shooting at a Sikh temple in suburban Milwaukee.
The World Sikh Council - America Region (WSC-AR) says the attack happened while Sikh scripture was being read. The council called it a troubling day not only for Sikh-Americans, but also for all Americans.
It also asks for prayers for the victims, their families and friends. It also offered praise to law enforcement for its rapid response.
