GARDEN GROVE, Calif. (AP) -- Southern California's landmark Crystal Cathedral will get a new name this weekend.
The Orange County Register says the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange plans to announce a new name Saturday during the ordination of four priests.
A spokesman won't provide the name but tells the Register that it will pertain to the life, teachings and deeds of Jesus.
The diocese bought the Garden Grove church and grounds for $57.5 million in bankruptcy proceedings last year.
The soaring, glass-paned megachurch was founded by Robert Schuller. It was sold to help pay off more than $40 million in debt.
