SANTA ANA, Calif. (AP) - A Southern California man has been charged with sexually assaulting two young girls he met at an Anaheim church.
Orange County prosecutors say 32-year-old David Elifar Verduzco
faces 60 years to life in prison if convicted. The Santa Ana man was charged with three felony counts of lewd acts and other sex allegations involving a 9-year-old girl and two felony counts of lewd acts with a 12-year-old girl.
The Orange County Register says Verduzco also faces sentencing-enhancement allegations for substantial sexual conduct with a child and lewd acts on multiple children.
Prosecutors say Verduzco was a worshipper at Agape House of Prayer, where he taught keyboard to children, including to the 12-year-old. He also befriended the 9-year-old's family and was her
