The purpose the Citizens' Observer Program is to allow members of our community to see and understand, first hand, what Police Officers experience on a daily basis. This program includes classroom exercises and demonstrations. Participants will also be given the opportunity to experience two four (4) hour observation rides with a veteran Police Officer.
Classes begin April 3, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. and continue every Tuesday night until April 24, 2018.

Spring Break Special Programs: Each day of Spring Break for Ozark City and Dale County Schools, we will host a program from 2-4 PM.
March 27: Planting in the Raised Beds out front of the Library, March 28: Wii and Board Games Day, March 29: Mind-blowing Magic, March 30: Illustrator and Writer Brett Brooks will demonstrate the creative process of bringing a drawing to life!
Dothan Leisure Services is sponsoring the “She’s All That” Senior Showcase Pageant. This event is an opportunity to spotlight local seniors age 50 and up. Participants may wear evening gowns or Sunday attire. Each participant will receive a crown and a sash. There will also be a talent portion for those who have a talent that they wish to perform. Registration is limited to the first 40 seniors. The registration form and participant bio must be turned in by the entry deadline Friday, March 30th.
The event will be held in the Northview High School Convocation Center Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. Admission is free and registration forms can be picked up at Dothan Leisure Services Office inside the Dothan Civic Center – Room 107 or at any Dothan Leisure Services Senior Center.
