Dothan Leisure Services Youth Baseball and Youth Fast Pitch Softball Registration

Event Dates and Times

2/12/2018 - 2/21/2018
Recreation Center in Your Region
Dothan Leisure Services 13-15 Year Old Fast Pitch Softball and 13 & 14 Year Old Baseball extended registration

Date of Event = Present - February 21st
Time of Event = 3-5pm
Cost? = $35.00

Why are you extending registration for these particular groups?
Numbers are down in these groups and they have been declining for several years not just in Dothan but nation wide. This is due to more opportunities to play at school or with a travel team or just a lack of interest in general. We want parents to know that whether or not their child made a school or travel team, there is still an opportunity for your child to play softball or baseball.

Who can sign up and how much does it cost?
If you live in the city limits of Dothan or if you live in a town close to Dothan that does not offer softball or baseball in these particular age groups you can register with us. The cost is $35.00.

Are you in need of coaches and team sponsors as well?
Yes. We are in particular need of coaches in the 13 & 14 Baseball age group. And we are in need of sponsors for all of our girls softball age groups. To coach you have to fill out out an application and be able to pass a background screening. A softball team sponsorship is $350 for the season. It's a great way to support youth sports and also a great source of advertisement for your business.
