Fun fact, five days ago, Febuary 12, 2010, snow was reported to be on the ground in ALL 50 states. even on Hawaii. Pretty cool, huh?

Well, I've got some time on my hands this morning, as we're not really look at any major storm systems over the continental United States. Arctic air has been pushed out of central Canada into the deep south for over a week now...with lows the past two days in the upper 20s. High pressure west of us will move eastward by Friday, which will push east and eventually be over Alabama, This will block the colder air from getting this far south, and bring a wind shift around from the East. Morning lows will warm into the upper 30's and low 40's by Friday. Afternoon highs will warm to the mid 60's by this weekend.

Next week we will see some enegy move in to the 4 corners which will ultimately develop into our next storm by Monday. At this point it does not appear to bring us any severe weather.

Could you give a very brief fishing chart on noon day news? WTVY Response... the fish and game forecast airs during our sports segment and we do not have a sports segment in our noon newscast. However, you can find the fish and game forecast on the sports section of our website whenever you want it. Thanks for watching.
