   Hey everyone,

Please give a warm welcome to the newest member of the WTVY family, Gina Pitisci (piteesee). She has taken Erica Proffer's position as anchor of WTVY This Morning and Live at Lunch. For those of you who missed the announcement, Erica Proffer has taken a job at KRGV an ABC affiliate in Weslaco, Texas, 7 miles from the Mexico boarder, in the Brownsville market. She will be a reporter for them covering drug cartels, and plenty of breaking news. We will miss her and wish her well!

Gina will begin anchoring on Wednesday. She joins us from living in Los Angeles, where she interned for a station out there. She is a graduate of FSU and has her masters from Southern California. She has family in Bainbridge and Tallahassee and we welcome her to the Wiregrass!

Weatherwise...Gina brings us SoCal sun! Monday will be the coldest day of the work week with gusty westerly winds up to 20 mph in the wake of Sunday's cold front. Highs will reach the upper 50's under abundant sun. Winds will relax this evening, and with clear skies will allow morning lows on Tuesday to be around 10 degrees colder across the boards. High pressure will control the weather through mid-week, giving us cool mornings and mild afternoons. Clouds will build back in from the west on Thursday, with rain expected Friday.

Here are some of our rainfall totals from this weekend:

Dothan Airport 1.28", WTVY station 1.3". Shane in Enterprise 1.53", New Brockton .85", Cat in Wicksburg 1.08", Linwood in Bonifay .70", Archie in Dothan 2.0".

Have a great week everyone!

Channel 4 Staff or who ever is in charge of the dress code for your employees: The men who do the weather must wear a suit and tie. The lady who gives the weather wears on the days that it is freezing outside no sleeves at all. The shirt she had on on 3-5-10 is supposed to be worn with a jacket or something over it. Not worn alone. She doesn't dress appropiate to be on TV. Her arms look terrible. Also, all the chit chat that Martha and Gina does where all you can see is the side of Gina's head is unprofessional. Either the cameraman needs to change locations or this needs to be discontinued. We like to watch your news but the mornings are getting worse instead of better. Remember we are on the outside looking in. Maybe you need to see it from our view.

I watch you every morning. I will miss Erica. I really have enjoyed Martha joining the Morning Show. You keep up the good work guys, I love watching you as a start to my day. Best wishes to Gina, I saw her this morning. I am a transplant here in Northwest Florida. I am from California. But re-located here 2o years ago and the first person I remember is Ann Varnum. I love channel 4 TV. Thank you all for the wonderful coverage you provide us.
