SEC Media Days Begin in Hoover

We're on our way to Hoover for this year's edition of SEC Media Days. Florida, South Carolina, Arkansas and Mississippi State will all hit the podium today.

That includes new Gators Head Coach Will Muschamp. Muschamp has big shoes to fill, replacing Urban Meyer, who won two national titles in six years. He's bringing one of the most confusing players along with him, in Gators quartrerback John Brantley. Brantley looked like a can't miss prospect out of high school, and during his early days in Gainesville as Tim Tebow's back-up. Then, he became the starter, and Brantley struggled, eventually losing his job to Trey Burton and others. Brantley will look for redemption this season, and he'll surely talk about that today.

The Gamecocks bring high profile talent to the Wynfrey Hotel, including wide receiver Alshon Jeffrey and running back Marcus Lattimore. Jeffrey and Lattimore could be the best at their positions in the SEC, and they'll look to help the Gamecocks repeat as SEC East champions this year

Arkansas has designs on an SEC West title this year, behind a high-powered offense. Running back Knile Davis and wide receiver Jarius Wright will discuss the Hogs potent attack this afternoon. Mississippi State will also face media members. Quarterback Chris Relf hopes to lead the Bulldogs to a second straight bowl game, and possibly a dark horse run at the West Divisiont title. He'll be in attendance along with Head Coach Dan Mullen.

Auburn will take it's turn at SEC Media Days on Thursday, along with Kentucky, Georgia and Tennessee. Alabama, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss and LSU will meet the media on Friday. Watch WTVY News 4 at 5, 6 & 10 all week for updates from Hoover. I'll be joined by Ben Stanfield, as we break down this year's edition of SEC Media Days.
