So we are now halfway through the competition. Oh how time flies. That means just 5 more weeks to reach my goal and goodness do I have some weight to lose. So I'm taking drastic measures. Working out consistently but now adding the Special K diet to the plan. I'm eating Special K for 2 of my 3 daily meals. The other meal I can eat whatever I want. I'm using this to my advantage by eating buffets or woofing down some banana pudding and pizza! Today I whipped up for lunch a turkey, egg and cheese sandwich with some grape jelly. I loved it, but don't feel too guilty. So, you know what I'm having for dinner.
I've also added cinnamon capsules to the plan. I've read a few studies about how the spice will help you cut belly fat much faster, so I figure now's as good a time as any to start. I'm taking 2000 mg a day. The article said when patients were given cinnamon vs. a placebo, they lost 500% more weight. Maybe that means Cinnamon Toast Crunch is really great for you! Probably not :( And tonight I'm starting to take Fish Oil tablets. I've put them in the freezer because I read that will keep the fishy taste from coming up- I know that's gross but it's a reason a lot of people quit taking the supplement. Just trying to be helpful for those of you who consider adding it to your daily routine.
So to burn off calories tonight I'm headed to a big kids bouncy house. You know, like the inflatables you used to jump on at the fair when you were young? I love them. WTVY is going as a group to donate canned food to the Food Bank and to get our jumps on! I just can't wait- and I'm sure to burn some calories in the process.
So since I'm doing all this to lose weight, if you see me in public give me a quick smile and holler' "Wow Rayne, you sure are looking skinny!" I don't care if you mean it, I need some motivation :)
