The weather right now is making me feel a little better about life. I can't wait to shed the bulky winter sweaters that make me look 10 pounds heavier for a lighter t-shirt and flowy skirt. One major perk of living in Dothan is the weather- we don't have to deal with the cold for long. It's a good thing too, you know, because we sure do complain more than most about the colder temps.
Most of us do start thinking about slinking into that bathing suit as the weather heats up. I was in Target the other day and noticed the large swim suit collection. Is it just me or do they seem to be getting skimpier every year? I loved the patterns, but I'm not sure I want half of my hiney shown while I'm prancing around on the beach. I'm thinking I may just keep the bathing suit I have from two years ago just so I don't have to try those suckers on!
No doubt you can tell from the previous paragraph that I haven't lost the weight I planned to. Down 1 pound. I can say I'm going to the gym and doing a good amount of cardio so I guess it's sure to fall off sooner or later. I also am preparing for a 3 week Special K Challenge at the end of the race to keep from disappointing my team mates. We are already on week 4 so I've got just 6 weeks left to get rid of this mess. I feel with this cereal plan in place I shouldn't fail- eek I hope I'm right.
This weekend we are planning to take the dogs for a walk. I think we'll both enjoy that. Maybe I'll also fit some shopping in. Surely that counts as exercise?!
