Just when you thought you had seen it all, the swine flu goes digital. Yes, that’s right, we now have an H1N1 video game.

According to the Associated Press London, “Dutch researchers have created a game that challenges players to control a new pandemic.” So, not only did it spark panic, illness, death and vaccine production, it all prompted the need for a game.

“The Great Flu” is billed as an effort to increase awareness and preparation in addition to bringing the stories of the more than 1,400 deaths and 178,000 cases to the forefront. In the game, players can race to find vaccines and, reportedly, try to contain and eliminate the H1N1 virus.

The game can only be played online at www.thegreatflu.com and it is free.

Whether or not you choose to try out the game, we want to know what you think. What are your opinions on its creation? If you try the game, what did you think? Post all your comments below.
