Parents are very special people and having mine here is bittersweet. They made a very last minute plan to come down and here they are! Even though they are staying for 8 days-the time is flying and I am cherishing every single moment.
They flew into Atlanta and rented a car to drive down to Dothan. All day last Friday I was nervous-calling them every few minutes to make sure they were okay. Isn't it funny how the roles get reversed between parents and children? They showed up with a MESS of groceries for me! They had found a place in Atlanta with Pakistani groceries and they got me all the spices and delicious treats that I can't find here.
I am so glad they are here! My mom keeps making my favorite dishes and my house actually feels like a home instead of a place I just sleep.
Lots of Pakistani Spices-----
