Originally from Sumter, South Carolina, Dr. General attended Tuskegee University for her bachelor’s degree and University of South Carolina for medical school. She completed her residency at Emory University. Tiffany is a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She joined Obstetrics & Gynecology of Dothan in August 2012.
“I love obstetrics and gynecology because I love women’s care. You have the chance to take care of women at any phase of their life,” she says. “It allows you to have one of the most intimate patient relationships there is, and I feel privileged to be a part of this field.”
“I am very down to earth. Patients can feel at ease. I’m very easy to speak to and very accessible,” Tiffany assures. “I love helping patients through difficult times and anything they are facing, and through happy times, like having a baby.”
This physician considers reading romance novels to be her guilty pleasure, and she is an avid traveler. “I have lived all over the world, including the Azores (Portuguese Islands), due to my military upbringing,” she shares. Tiffany enjoys spending time with her parents, brother, sister-in-law, niece and nephew, as well as her fiancé, whom she will marry in September 2013.
