Dr. Kenneth Wallace began his career in ophthalmology with an internship performed at the University of Alabama at Birmingham after graduating from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. His residency was performed at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. After serving as Chief of Ophthalmology at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois, Dr. Wallace moved to Dothan in 1987 and has been practicing in the Wiregrass area for over twenty years. As a board-certified ophthalmologist, Dr. Wallace specializes in cataract surgery and anterior segment surgery. In addition to being a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, he is a member of the Medical Association of the State of Alabama, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the Houston County Medical Society.
