Hospice is available to individuals who have a life threatening illness in which a physician has agreed that hospice is appropriate, have decided to seek quality of life and comfort, rather than a cure, and who agree to the plan of care developed by hospice, the attending physician, and the patient.
|What is the Focus of Hospice Care?
Community Hospice Grief Share group meets every Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Community Hospice in Ozark. The support group is open to the general public, who feels they need help in coping with a loss.
|Who pays for Hospice?
Hospice care is your right...and it is often covered by Medicare. The Comprehensive care provided by our team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
|What illnesses are appropriate for hospice care?
Our care focuses on terminally ill patients with illnesses such as cancer, organ failure, and neuromuscular degenerative diseases.

Our team is comprised of physicians, nurses, social workers, volunteers, home health aides, bereveavement counselors, and a chaplain.
